Association of Accounting Technicians - AAT

  • Duration: 1 year

AAT is the UK’s leading professional body offering skills-based accountancy and finance qualifications. These qualifications are practical, internationally recognized, and can open doors in any industry across the world.

AAT is open to everyone and offers an excellent route into chartered accountancy. If you choose to further your studies with one of the leading chartered professional bodies, such as ACCA, CIPFA or CIMA, your AAT qualification will give you generous exemptions. SBSA, as the only approved AAT Centre in Seychelles, offers you all levels of AAT qualifications. SBSA is also an approved exam centre and offers opportunities for external candidates to sit their AAT exams.

Which AAT Qualification does SBSA offer?

1. Accounting Qualifications

Jobs in accounting are extremely diverse and deliver exciting career opportunities, and studying for an AAT accounting qualification will ensure you have the skills and experience that employers need. Some of our accounting qualifications offer a route to becoming an AAT professional member and are a stepping stone toward university, chartered accountancy, or being your own boss.

We offer three accounting qualifications, each of which takes 12 months to complete. Learners can start with any qualification depending on their existing skills and experience. If they already have some accounting experience, they should find out which qualification is right for them.

2. Bookkeeping Qualifications

AAT bookkeeping qualifications provide training for a huge range of bookkeeping roles and are recognized by employers worldwide. They can prepare learners to become an AAT bookkeeping member and also open up the opportunity to be your own boss. We offer two short bookkeeping qualifications, which take up to 6 months to complete.

Learners can start with any qualification depending on their existing skills and experience.
