How to join our the Media Matrix
To join Media Matrix, applicants must be full-time learners in Year 1, 2, or 3, with a strong familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and the creative tools such as Canva and CapCut. Ideal candidates will have skills in photography and videography, along with the ability to work well in a team.
Creativity, imagination, and a dedication to promoting SBSA are essential qualities we seek, as we work to bring the academy's vibrant story to life.
Brief history of the Media Matrix
Media Matrix was founded in 2021 by learner, Isa Gamatis-Herriet, with the support of our Director, Mrs Josianne Bristol, to bring visibility and energy to the Seychelles Business Studies Academy through digital media.
Through her work on the Facebook and Instagram pages, Isa was able to inspire others to join her and thus, in January 2022 the Media Matrix was founded to enable those learners who were willing and interested to have an input in the social media presence of the academy.
The group began with a dedicated team of five members, led by Curtis Nolin in 2022, followed by Horisha Savy in 2023.
Today, under the leadership of Zellah Volcere, the team has grown to 14 members, all committed to showcasing the academy's unique spirit and activities to the public.
The academy hopes to see this vibrant team of learners growing in number and evolving into a dynamic, innovative group that plays a pivotal role in enhancing the academy’s brand and communication efforts, producing high-quality content that engages learners, staff, and external stakeholders. The goal is to foster a culture of collaboration, skills development, and leadership within the team, ensuring that it becomes a key driver of the academy's visibility and influence in the country.
