Ms. Evelina Antha

Ms. Evelina Antha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance obtained from the University of Manchester, UK in 2007 as well as a Master’s degree in Investment and Finance with the University of Nottingham, UK in 2011. Ms. Antha started work in 2007 as the Investment Manager of Seychelles Pension Fund (SPF) and has spent 10 years working with the Fund. She was appointed to the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Property Management Corporation (PMC) in 2018 a post she held until her appointment as a lecturer at SBSA in July 2021. Ms. Antha has always been willing to provide her help and support to others, and share knowledge and has seized this opportunity to become a lecturer so that she can share her knowledge, skills and experience. Ms. Antha has excellent leadership skills, is diligent and always willing to help the team reach the most successful outcome.

Ms. Saffia Robert

Diploma in Office Management and Administration Ms. Saffia Robert graduated in March 2020 with a Diploma after completing 3 years of study at SBSA. She also attained City and Guilds Qualifications up to Level 2, as well as a credit in Basic Quickbooks Accounting Software. Ms. Robert was appointed in the post of Office Assistant to the Director soon after her graduation. She enjoyed her three years as a student at SBSA and was extremely happy to return as a member of staff. In 2020, Ms Robert was promoted to the post of Assistant Lecturer. It has been a long-standing dream of hers to move into the teaching profession and with SBSA she definitely saw her real ‘Gateway to Opportunities’.

Mrs. Rosealette Dodin

Mrs. Rosealette Dodin Degree in Social Science with Specialisation in Social Work Rosealette Lydie Dodin holds a degree in social science with specialisation in social work from the University of Seychelles as well as a diploma in social work from the NIHSS (National Institute of Health and Social Studies) in partnership with the Edith Cowan University. She was recently promoted to the post of Lecturer. She is friendly, trustworthy, confident, and multi-skilled, amongst many other values which enables her to discharge her role as lecturer.

Mrs. Sylvine Bonne

Mrs. Sylvine Bonne Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Mrs Sylvine Bonne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in International Business obtained from the University of London in 2019. After completing her studies in secondary she studied four years to obtain her diploma in Primary Teacher Education from the National Institute of Education. She has eight years of teaching experience. Sylvine also worked with Mason’s Travel for one year, in the Marketing department. She is a friendly person and her interests are mostly faith-based. Sylvine encourages good discipline in her students.

Ms. Aisha Elizabeth

Ms. Aisha Elizabeth Diploma in Office Management and Administration Ms Aisha Elizabeth completed her 3 years studies at SBSA in December 2019. In February 2020 Ms Elizabeth was appointed in the post of Assistant Lecturer at SBSA for Word Processing, Information Technology and Bookkeeping. Ms Elizabeth graduated with a Diploma in Office Management and Administration in March 2020. She also attained City and Guilds qualifications up to level 3 as well as a distinction in Basic Quickbooks Accounting Software. Ms Elizabeth has a great personality, she is a quiet and approachable individual who portrays good professional attitude with students and all staff members. Ms Elizabeth had such a wonderful experience at SBSA as a student and decided to come back and continue to be part of the SBSA family. She is happy to be back, teaching students what she learned and providing them with the knowledge she gained at the Academy.

Mr Kasipillai Sathiyamoorthy

Mr Kasipillai Sathiyamoorthy Bachelor of Commerce Mr Kasipillai Sathiyamoorthy earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) special degree from the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka in 1994 and a Post-graduate Diploma in Education from the Open University of Sri Lanka. He has taught Accounting and Business studies at A level and O level at Trinity College, Kandy, Sri Lanka for 8 years. Mr Sathiyamoorthy taught accounting at the School of Advanced Level Studies at Anse Royale, Seychelles from 2006 to 2018, and also taught evening classes at SIDOL from 2006 onwards. Currently he is lecturing financial management, book-keeping, auditing, and WEAF at SBSA. He is a hardworking and outgoing person with a friendly attitude to both his colleagues and students. He is a fantastic team player who has played hockey and cricket at university and during his days of youth.

Mr. Frank Van Kerkhove

Mr. Frank Van Kerkhove Mr. Frank Van Kerkhove obtained a Diploma in Information Technology at the Hoger Instituut St. Lodewijk, Antwerp, Belgium, in 1987, and has worked most of his career in the IT field in Seychelles in private and public sector, holding various technical and managerial positions. Mr. Frank Van Kerkhove is currently employed as an IT  Lecturerer With a varied skill set and years of experience, he is still eager to learn and engage in different challenges.

Ms. Telma Sauzier

Ms. Telma Sauzier Ms. Telma Sauzier holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature obtained from the University of London in 2014. After obtaining her A’Levels in 2005, she continued her studies at the National Institute of Education where she obtained her Diploma. She started work as an English teacher in 2008 and has spent 10 years teaching at Anse Royale Secondary School. From September 2018 Ms. Sauzier moved to SBSA where she currently teaches Business Communication. Ms. Sauzier loves sports, especially handball, and has twice received the award for this in the Annual Sports Awards ceremony.

Mr. Nicholas Oduor

Mr. Nicholas Oduor Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Mr. Nicholas Oduor is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an advanced Diploma graduate in Project management from Kenya Institute of Management. After graduation Mr.Oduor has had opportunities to work as an accountant in various companies and as a part time lecturer. With his wealth of both class and practical work knowledge, he has an added advantage while lecturing the accounting students relating the practical aspect of the class study. Away from the professional line he has an outgoing personality and a team player who loves outdoor activities like travelling and site seeing.

Mr. Arnold Osokpor

Mr. Arnold Osokpor Mr Arnold Osokpor  Onoweigho is a Nigerian citizen. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Ebonyi State University of Nigeria (EBSU) in 2008. He is a certified member of the Nigerian institute of Management (NIM), a student member of the institute of chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and also a student member of the Association of chartered certified Accountants (ACCA) UK. He has worked in both private and Government sector organizations in Lagos Nigeria, namely: the intercontinental Wapic insurance company and the Nigerian civil Aviation authority as an Accounts officer. He is currently a lecturer in the Seychelles Business Studies Academy (SBSA) Lecturing Financial and Management Accounting related courses; (Financial Statements, External Auditing, Book-Keeping and Accounts, Indirect Tax, Cash Management and Basic Accounting). He also taught IGCSE accounting and Stores and Inventory Management in Seychelles Institute of Distance and Open Learning (SIDOL) in 2012. He possesses proven leadership and management skills having been an active participant in various leadership positions. He was the secretary General, Vice President and now the acting President of the Association of Nigerians in Seychelles. He is the chairperson of the winners’ chapel international Seychelles Financial Management committee/acting Church Accountant and the secretary of the pastoral Management board. He is a team player with ethical values, responsible, hardworking and self-driven professional. He also possesses excellent interpersonal skills, he is a mentor and serves as an example to many students. He loves teaching and assisting students and believes in justice for one justice for all.

Mrs. Zelda, Collette Julie

Mrs. Zelda, Collette Julie Bachelor of Education in English! Mrs. Zelda, Collette Julie holds a Bachelor of Education (Secondary); 2004-2005; major in English with 11 years’ experience teaching in secondary schools at IGCSE level where she taught English as First Language and Second Language Courses. She is Accredited as an IGCSE English as a Second Language Examiner for Speaking Examination. Mrs Julie has three years’ experience as a lecturer teaching at Professional centres; having taught at the Seychelles Tourism Academy before moving to the Seychelles Business Studies Academy where she currently teaches English for Business Communication and Customer service. Mrs. Julie has a tendency to be reserved and critical. She favours a prudent approach to matters and will evaluate them according to their accuracy before acting. Disciplined and diligent, she can quickly turn the ideas of a team into concrete actions and practical plans. She is concerned when errors are made, and thus prefers to polish and scrutinize the work for errors, subjecting it to the highest standards of quality control. Mrs Julie maintains a strong focus on given tasks and team members often have a great deal of trust and confidence in her.

Mr. Juma John Juma

Mr. Juma John Juma Master of Arts in Human Resource Management Mr. Juma John Juma acquired a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from Madurai Kamaraj University in India, in 2002. He also attained a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Economics and Tourism from Kurukshetra University in India, in 2000. Mr. Juma has always worked in the training field starting as Human Resource Management Lecturer at Stonebic College, then moving on as Human Resource Management Lecturer and Head of Business Studies Department at Nairobi Institute of Business Studies. From 2007 to November 2014 Mr Juma worked as Reception Operation and Services Lecturer at the Seychelles Tourism Academy where he was also Head of Programme for Reception Operation and Services. In December 2014 Mr Juma joined Seychelles Business Studies Academy as Lecturer. Mr Juma currently lectures Principles of Customer Service and Business Communication for both programmes; Office Management and Administration and Business Studies and Accounting. He is a member of Academic Committee, Social Committee, and Safety Committee. Mr. Juma is an amiable, open minded person, who is a great team member. He is a well- respected person who also gets on well with all his colleagues and students. He is very passionate about the students’ accomplishments.

Ms. Marlene Rapide

Ms. Marlene Rapide Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Financial Management! Ms. Marlene Rapide gained a Bachelor in Computer Information System from the University of London in 2014. Ms. Rapide joined Ministry of Education in 2004 as a System Support Officer. She joined teaching in the year 2007 starting as an IT lecturer at Visual Arts programme area, then moving on as IT lecturer with the Seychelles Business Studies Academy. She’s a member of the Academic Committee and an active member of the Social Committee and loves to organise activities for students. She is very devoted towards the success of her students and ensures she dedicates her time to them, even when it means giving them extra time. A very caring and approachable teacher who ensures that each student feel at ease to talk to her anytime.

Mr. Nilan Fonseka

Mr. Nilan Fonseka Bachelor of Information Technology! Mr. Nilan Fonseka earned a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka, in 2005. He also earned a Diploma in Education from National Institute of Education in Sri Lanka, in 1996. He also gained Assessor Award from AAT (UK). Mr. Fonseka has worked in the education field starting as a Mathematics and IT teacher in the Secondary school in Sri Lanka from 1998 to 2005. Mr Fonseka was employed as the IT lecturer at the Seychelles Business Studies Academy (SBSA) from 2006. Currently he is lecturing in Computerised Accounting, (Sage and QuickBooks Packages), Spreadsheets and Business Statistics Subjects. Mr. Fonseka is a very helpful individual, not only to students but to other members of staff. He provides support to all social activities organised and can be counted on to ensure all is organised to a high standard. He is very approachable and viewed as a dedicated member of the SBSA team by all.

Mr. Peter Kiplagat Arap Too

Peter Kiplagat Arap Too Bachelor of Commerce Degree! Mr Peter Kiplagat Arap Too is a Kenyan citizen aged 30. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Accounting specialization) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) having graduated with a First Class Honors, in October 2011. He is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA) part qualified. He possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of accounting and finance, having worked at Maersk Kenya limited as an Assistant Accountant-receivables from December 2011 to December 2012. Further, this was richly enhanced at Eliora Energy Limited where he worked as an Accountant from January 2013 to December 2014. He is currently a Lecturer at the Seychelles Business Studies Academy (SBSA), Lecturing management and financial accounting related courses (Basic Accounting, External Auditing and Financial Performance). He is knowledgeable in IT user skills with proficiency in Microsoft office computer packages, SAP, QuickBooks and sage pastel accounting software. He is a hardworking, ambitious and self-driven individual with outstanding organizational skills. He is also a result oriented team player with ethical values and a capacity to work in a fast paced, dynamic multi-cultural environment with minimal supervision. Mrs. Vanesa Finesse

Mrs. Vanesa Finesse Masters in Sustainable Tourism Management! Mrs. Vanesa Finesse earned a Masters degree in Sustainable Tourism Management from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (IREST) in 2018, after completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Licence Professionnelle en Hotellerie et Tourisme from the University of London & University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, in 2015. Mrs. Finesse is a devoted team member with a demonstrated history of training and working in the tertiary sector. Some of her main proficiencies are in Marketing, Customer Service Delivery, Tourism Management and research. Having joined the Seychelles Business Studies Academy in 2015, Mrs Finesse is currently occupying the post of Quality Assurance Officer. Mr. Alain Reddy

Mr. Alain Reddy Bachelor Degree in Education! Mr. Alain Reddy has 27 years in the Education field. He started as a primary teacher then moved to secondary. As from 5 February 2008 he was transferred from Plaisance Secondary School to Seychelles Business Studies Academy (at that time School of Business Studies and Accounting). During his time at the Academy he undertook duties of course leader for Diploma in Office Management and Administration and that of Coordinator of Studies. Mr. Reddy has three Diplomas and a Bachelor Degree in Education and he is currently teaching Business French and Citizenship Education at the Academy. He is a very devoted lecturer and well respected by students and colleagues of the Academy.
